Last name is pronounced “DIM-key.”  Also played club soccer as an Illinois prep. Took over kickoff duties for the last six games in 2008 and booted 29 kickoffs for a 61.3-yard average and three touchbacks. In ’09, handled primarily kickoffs (53-63.3-12) until getting a chance late in the season to kick and was perfect – connecting on all five field-goal attempts and 12 point-after tries. Was a semi-finalist for the Lou Groza award in '10 after converting 24-of-29 FG attempts and all 43 PATs while handling kickoffs (79-62.0-22). Tied the school record for field goals made in a season (Chris White, 1984). In '11, he converted 10-of-12 field goal attempts, with a long of 49 and made all 34 PATs. Ended his career as the program's all-time leader in field goal accuracy (39-of-46, .848) and extra point accuracy (89-of-89). 

Functional leg strength and accuracy. Experience kicking in inclement weather. Is coachable and works to improve. Mentally tough. 

Inconsistent get-off times. Limited experience with attempts beyond 40 yards. Missed a potential game-tying 42-yard FG attempt as time expired at Penn State. Does not project as a kickoff man.

Consistent, right-footed Big Ten kicker who took advantage of limited opportunities, showing requisite skills to get into a camp.
