Was an all-state selection in football while also participating in football and track as an Ohio prep. Saw action in all 13 games, making five starts, as a true freshman in 2007 and made 25 catches for 430 yards (17.2-yard average) and two touchdowns. Became the second Miami freshman to ever crack the 100-yard receiving mark in a game (112 yards vs. Minnesota). Led the team in receiving yards and touchdowns after hauling in 35-513-7 (14.7) in 12 games in ’08. Was a versatile receiver, making nine starts at three different WR positions. Made only two starts (“Z” receiver) in ’09, grabbing 11-98-0 (8.9) before undergoing season-ending left shoulder surgery (torn labrum). Returned to play in 11 games in ’10 and recorded 26-385-1 (14.8) while missing three games with an ankle injury. Made seven starts — the first five games at the “Z” receiver, one at “H” position and one as a fourth wide receiver. Started all 10 games played in '11, grabbing 60-695-5 (11.6) and missing two games with a concussion.
