Lightly recruited linebacker who also wrestled as a Pennsylvania prep. Missed most of his junior season because of a broken left wrist. As a true freshman in 2008, played all 12 games (three starts at defensive end) and tallied 20 stops, 1 1/2 tackles for loss and one sack. Started 10-of-13 games at left end in ’09, producing 46-14-13 with three batted passes, one interception and five forced fumbles. Started all 12 games at right end in ’10 and registered 38-4 1/2-3 1/2 with one batted pass, three forced fumbles, two blocked kicks (punt, PAT) and a 24-yard fumble-return TD against Connecticut. In 13 starts at DE, posted 52-13 1/2-6 1/2 with one interception and a blocked kick in '11. Team captain.
