Will Allen, the Dolphins' starting right cornerback, was arrested early Saturday morning in Miami Beach on charges of driving while under the influence.

Allen is a nine-year NFL veteran. He missed the final 10 games last season because of a knee injury that required surgery. Jail records show Allen was arrested Saturday and was being held at the Pretrial Detention Center in Miami on $1,000 bond.
Allen is out for the season with a left knee injury. Allen hurt his anterior cruciate ligament in the third quarter of the Dolphins' loss to New Orleans and will require surgery, coach Tony Sparano said Monday.|||||||
Allen has missed only one game since joining the Dolphins in 2006. He leads the team with two interceptions this year.He'll be replaced by 2009 first-round draft pick Vontae Davis, which means the Dolphins will start two rookie cornerbacks Sunday at the New York Jets. Second-round pick Sean Smith has been starting opposite Allen.
After suffering a groin injury last week against Kansas City, Allen was active for Sunday's game against the New York Jets and broke up one pass.|||||||
Allen has 42 tackles, a sack and three interceptions this season.
