The Indianapolis Colts have waived Chandler Harnish, the 2012 Mr. Irrelevant, so they could sign Saunders.||||||| The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Saunders played in 16 games and made six starts last season with Pittsburgh. He had four receptions for 29 yards and one touchdown.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported that the NFL has suspended Saunders for four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.||||||| Saunders' suspension will begin Sept. 1. As a rookie, the tight end and undrafted free agent out of South Carolina caught four passes for 29 yards. He scored his only touchdown during a 13-9 win in Kansas City on Nov. 27.
