Davis is out of Sunday night's game against Seattle with a concussion after getting hit along the sideline by Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor.||||||| Davis was attempting to haul in a pass deep in Seattle's end late in the first quarter Sunday night. Davis caught the pass but was immediately knocked off his feet by Chancellor, jarring the ball loose. Davis was slow to get up, was examined by doctors on the sideline and eventually taken to the locker room for further evaluation. The team announced early in the second quarter Davis had a concussion and would not return.

Davis caught five passes for a season-high 106 yards during Sunday's 45-3 rout of Buffalo.||||||| While Davis is only averaging four catches per game, he's making the most of his opportunities - his 15.2 yards per reception ranks second in the league among tight ends.

Davis caught a pair of touchdowns in the 49ers' 27-19 win over visiting Detroit on Sunday night.||||||| Through two games, Davis already has half of his TD total from 2011. If he stays healthy, he might in line to top his production from 2009, when he had 78 catches for 965 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Davis concluded an outstanding postseason in Sunday's 20-17 OT loss to the Giants.||||||| Davis had three catches for 112 yards and two scores after he had 180 and two last week. Fantasy owners can expect big things in 2012 from the tight end.

Davis added seven catches for 180 catches and two scores in Saturday's 36-32 postseason win over the Saints.||||||| Davis put his name into Niners lore with his spectacular winning TD catch from Alex Smith. "You've got to call it `The Grab,"' Davis said of his play. "We were down. I had to make it happen to take my teammates where we want to go."
