The Chicago Bears have signed Nolan, adding depth at the position. The Bears were looking for help at the spot after Chris Conte suffered a hamstring injury in last week's win at Arizona. They announced the move on Wednesday.|||||||
Drafted in the seventh round by Houston in 2009, Nolan has 73 tackles and three interceptions over 37 appearances and seven starts with the Texans and Miami Dolphins. He has five tackles in seven games this season with Houston and Miami.

The Texans (4-0) turned to Nolan after Quintin Demps fractured his left forearm in Sunday's win over Tennessee. Nolan was a seventh-round draft pick by Houston in 2009, and spent his rookie year on injured reserve with a broken wrist. He played in 30 games between 2010-11, but was waived at the end of training camp this year. He was waived by the Dolphins last month.
Nolan had two interceptions in Sunday's 31-24 win at Oakland.|||||||
