Williams won't play in the Pro Bowl after being hurt in a brawl at a Honolulu nightclub. NFL officials and local police said Friday night the first-time all-star was hurt in a fight that injured three men, sending two to the hospital. Police say one man was arrested and five others are being investigated for assault, but not Williams.||||||| The league says the third-year pro will be on the sideline for the Pro Bowl game Sunday and won't lose his status as a member of the NFC team. Officials say he'll be paid a full Pro Bowl share. Williams' Redskins teammate Jammal Brown says on Twitter that Williams needed seven stitches. Brown says the fight wasn't Williams' fault and he did nothing wrong.

Williams is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being limited in practice with a bone bruise in his right knee.||||||| Williams was hurt in last week's loss to Cincinnati and did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. He said he did what he could in practice Friday and that "it would be tough" for him to play if the game were right away.

Williams and tight end Fred Davis are set to play for the first time since Dec. 4 in Thursday's preseason opener after they were suspended for the final four games of 2011 for failing multiple drug tests.||||||| Williams gets tested two or three times a week and meets weekly with a counselor. If he tests positive this season, he'll be suspended for a year.

The NFL has announced the four-game suspensions for Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis and Williams for violating the league's substance abuse policy.||||||| The league said Tuesday that both are suspended without pay and will be eligible to return to Washington's active roster on Jan. 2 - the day after the final regular season game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
