Williams has been diagnosed with a bruised shoulder after leaving Thursday night's game against the New Orleans Saints. Packers coach Mike McCarthy says no timeline has been established for Williams' return. He said the outlook is "positive" and the injury didn't seem severe.|||||||
Williams appeared to hurt his right shoulder in a collision with Packers safety Nick Collins. Collins bruised his wrist during the game, but McCarthy said he didn't expect Collins to miss any time in practice next week.

Williams, a fourth-year player out of Louisiana Tech, was regarded as a reliable No. 3 cornerback before veteran Al Harris sustained a season-ending knee injury late last season. Williams became a full-time starter, and coaches say his coverage skills have come to rival those of fellow Packers cornerback Charles Woodson.
