The Raiders signed TE Tory Humphrey, the team announced Tuesday. Humphrey spent the last three seasons with the Saints.

The New Orleans Saints have agreed to contract terms with Humphrey.||||||| Humphrey has been with the Saints the past two seasons after spending his first three pro seasons with Green Bay. He played in six games last season, catching one pass for 12 yards.

The New Orleans Saints have brought back Humphrey, who was signed last week but then released before Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to Tampa Bay.||||||| Humphrey was a reserve tight end with Green Bay for the last four seasons. He is not expected to be a major factor in the Saints' quest to reach their first Super Bowl.

Humphrey will undergo surgery Friday for a broken forearm. Humphrey suffered the injury toward the end of Thursday's morning practice on a collision with safety Aaron Rouse, who intercepted a pass intended for Humphrey.||||||| Packers coach Mike McCarthy says the team won't know until after the surgery whether Humphrey will miss the upcoming season. Humphrey sustained a season-ending broken leg on the first day of training camp in 2007.

The Green Bay Packers have re-signed Humphrey.||||||| Humphrey played in all 16 games last season and had 11 catches for 162 yards, both career highs. He has played three seasons with Green Bay since coming out of Central Michigan.
