On a first-and-goal near the end of the second quarter, Brady was forced out of the pocket to his left. He ran for 3 yards but slid before he could be tackled. Brady threw for 443 yards Sunday night, his second-highest total in one game, but the Patriots couldn't finish off a 28-point comeback in a 41-34 loss to San Francisco.|||||||
Brady, who had 517 yards in a win over Miami last season, threw a touchdown in a 46th consecutive regular season game but was also picked off twice. If he throws a TD in his next game, Brady will tie Johnny Unitas' former NFL record of 47 consecutive games. New Orleans' Drew Brees holds the current mark at 54.
