Lewis is one day closer to starting for the Browns.||||||| Lewis has spent two seasons with Browns, but has yet to appear in a game. Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy did not practice again because of right shoulder injuries. "He's got a live arm," said coach Pat Shurmur about Lewis. "He's very athletic. He'll execute our offense the right way and I'm glad he's going to, if he becomes the starter here, will have an opportunity. He'll do a good job."

Elevated from the practice squad on Monday, Lewis could make his NFL debut in Pittsburgh on Sunday.||||||| The Cleveland Browns are down to their third-string quarterback with both Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy missing practice Wednesday due to right shoulder injuries. The 25-year-old Lewis was on St. Louis' practice squad in 2010 when coach Pat Shurmur was an assistant with the Rams.
