Seattle coach Pete Carroll says that despite the Seahawks' decision to release Owens he still believes the 38-year-old wide receiver can play in the NFL||||||| Owens arrived at Seahawks camp in terrific shape and looked good on the practice field, but couldn't transfer it to the games. He had just two catches for 41 yards in two preseason games that were more notable for his drops. But Carroll said the team would not rule out looking at Owens later in the season if needed.

Terrell Owens posted on his Twitter account that he is "no longer" a member of the Seattle Seahawks, writing, "I'm no longer a Seahawk. I THANK the organization 4 the opportunity, I'm truly blessed beyond belief. My FAITH is intact & will NOT waiver."||||||| Owens signed a one-year deal with Seattle earlier this month, just days before the first preseason game. He played the second and third preseason games for Seattle, but caught only one pass. Owens did not play in the NFL last season. He has started 201 of the 219 regular-season NFL games he has played. He has 1,078 receptions for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns - the second most in league history.

Owens had a disappointing debut for the Seahawks in Saturday's win over Denver, failing to catch any of the five passes thrown his way.||||||| Owens is trying to show he's fully recovered from a knee injury that kept him out of the NFL for the entire 2011 season, but in his first NFL game action since Week 15 of the 2010 season with Cincinnati, he was out of sync with quarterback Matt Flynn.

Owens will make his debut for the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night when they travel to Denver for a preseason game against the Broncos.||||||| Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Thursday that Owens feels good and will see some time in the Seahawks' second preseason game. Owens signed with Seattle on Aug. 6 and had just a couple of days of practice before the preseason opener against Tennessee. Carroll said he didn't think it was fair to run Owens out there that quickly, but feels he's ready after two weeks of work.

Owens was back in Los Angeles packing up some belongings while the Seattle Seahawks were on the practice field Tuesday morning. Even though he was away from his new team, Owens was still the talk of training camp.||||||| Owens agreed to a one-year deal with the Seahawks on Monday. He returned to Los Angeles late Monday night, was expected back at the team's facility later Tuesday for meetings and to be on the practice field wearing No. 10 on Wednesday morning.
