McGee is among eight players signed to reserve/future contracts by the Houston Texans.||||||| The 6-3 McGee was a fourth-round pick by Dallas in 2009. He played in only three games for the Cowboys before he was cut at the end of training camp in 2012.

In his first NFL start, McGee threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jason Witten with 55 seconds left to lead the Dallas Cowboys to a 14-13 victory over the NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.||||||| The rookie's 238 yards, two TDs and no interceptions in two games is good enough for Dallas to perhaps trust him next season should Tony Romo endure another injury.
