Steelers QB Byron Leftwich suffered a left knee injury in the second quarter of Pittsburgh's preseason game against Carolina Thursday night. Reports indicate the injury is a sprain of the MCL and he will be out for 2-4 weeks.

Suisham made both extra points and 1 of 2 field goals in a 31-25 loss to Green Bay on Sunday.||||||| Suisham missed a 52-yard field goal in the third quarter in his return to Dallas, where he played from 2005-06 and 2009. He took over when Jeff Reed was unceremoniously let go so fantasy owners should realize that Suisham's future with the Steelers is far from certain.

Suisham made two of three field goals and all three extra points as the Steelers cruised past the Panthers 27-3 on Thursday night.||||||| Suisham is 12 for 13 on field goals for the Steelers, missing a 41-yarder Thursday. One miss can affect the confidence of a kicker so fantasy owners may want to look elsewhere for their kicking points in Week 17.

The Cleveland Browns have signed free agent kicker Shaun Suisham. With veteran Phil Dawson skipping the team's voluntary workouts in an apparent contract dispute, the Browns signed Suisham, who spent last season with Dallas and Washington. Suisham made 20 of 24 field goals last season.||||||| Suisham was cut by the Redskins after missing a 23-yard attempt in a game the Redskins lost to New Orleans in overtime. He also missed from 39 and 50 yards in a 7-6 loss to Dallas, which later signed him.

The chip-shot miss against the New Orleans Saints has cost Suisham his job. Suisham was cut Tuesday by the Redskins, who replaced him with Graham Gano (guh-NOH) from the United Football League.||||||| Suisham made his first 13 field goal attempts this year, but he had vital misses from 39 and 50 yards against Dallas three games ago and was wide right Sunday on a 23-yarder that would have sealed a victory against the unbeaten Saints. New Orleans rallied to win 33-30 in overtime.
