The Green Bay Packers placed wide receiver Shaun Bodiford on injured reserve Wednesday and signed safety Atari Bigby from their practice squad. Bodiford injured his leg in the Packers' victory at Minnesota on Sunday.|||||||
The Packers signed Bodiford, who was released by Detroit, last month after losing wide receiver Koren Robinson to a league suspension and wide receiver Robert Ferguson to a foot injury. he had no catches in six total games for Detroit and green Bay this season, but returned five kickoffs for a 16.2 yards per return average.
After being released by Detroit last Sunday, Green Bay picked up Bodiford to add depth to a depleted wide receiver position. He has been hampered by a knee injury this season. The rookie has no catches in three career games.|||||||
