Saints officially part ways with Kreutz
A day after he announced he was leaving the team because he no longer had a passion for football, C Olin Kreutz has been released by the Saints.

Canfield, a seventh-round draft pick out of Oregon State, has been on and off the Saints' active or practice squad rosters this season as space permitted. He's mostly been the third-string quarterback, and could be a good pickup since he has no doubt learned a lot under the tutelage of superstar Drew Brees.
