Arizona's John Skelton will be back at starting quarterback when the Cardinals play the Seahawks Sunday in Seattle. Coach Ken Whisenhunt says his decision to replace Lindley was based on several factors, including the environment the Cardinals will face in Seattle, where the crowd is among the loudest in the NFL and the conditions are likely to be cold and wet.|||||||
Skelton says he is taking nothing for granted and just wants to complete more passes than he did when he was benched in favor of Lindley three games ago. Lindley says he understands the decision. Lindley made his second NFL start in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the New York Jets, completing 10 of 31 passes for just 72 yards, 23 of them on the second play of the game. Skelton was the guy the next four games before being replaced by Lindley after struggling against Atlanta last week. Combined, they've thrown 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
