Barber's 78-yard interception return for a touchdown Sunday keyed a 38-10 rout of the struggling Kansas City Chiefs.||||||| Barber, making the transition to safety after 15 seasons as one of the NFL's top cornerbacks, scored his 14th career regular season touchdown.

Barber is returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his 16th NFL season.||||||| Barber signed a one-year contract Wednesday to come back to the only team he's played for. He started 16 games last season for the Bucs, starting every game since Week 10 in 1999 - the longest active streak in the NFL. Barber has 43 career interceptions and 27 career sacks, making him the only player in NFL history with 40 or more picks and 25 or more sacks in a career.

Barber signed a one-year contract with Tampa Bay, returning for a 15th season.||||||| The 35-year-old is the club's career interceptions leader with 40 and has made 183 consecutive starts, the second-longest streak among active NFL players behind Peyton Manning. Barber had three interceptions and was Tampa Bay's third-leading tackler last season. With 26 career sacks, he's the only player in league history with at least 40 interceptions and 25 or more sacks.

Tampa Bay cornerback Ronde Barber recorded the 25th sack of his career in the third quarter of Tampa Bay's 20-17 loss to Atlanta on Sunday.||||||| He joins Rodney Harrison as the only players in NFL history with at least 25 sacks and 30 interceptions. Barber's 25 career sacks is the top total for active NFL defensive backs and are 9 1/2 more than any cornerback in league history.

Barber returned two interceptions for touchdowns Sunday in the Buccaneers' 23-21 win over Philadelphia. The first was returned 37 yards in the second quarter for the only score of the first half. He was named the NFC's defensive player of the week.||||||| Barber leads the Buccaneers with two interceptions and is repsonsible for the team's only two defensive TDs this season.
