Garza was signed to a six-year contract extension by the Bears on Monday. The offensive lineman appeared in all 16 games this season, starting seven, after signing a one-year deal with Chicago in March. Garza has started 38 of 68 games during his career.|||||||

Garza has signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears. Garza said he was stunned by this revelation, as, after he tore his ACL in 2003, returned to start every game at left guard for Atlanta in 2004, never missing any practices and playing without pain.|||||||
