He missed two days of practice and was limited on Friday.
Quinn has been charged with drunken driving in suburban St. Louis, police and court officials said Thursday. Florissant police Capt. Tim Lowery said Quinn was involved in a one-car accident on an exit ramp along Interstate 270 at 5:38 a.m. on July 10. Lowery said the responding officer suspected Quinn was intoxicated and arrested him without incident.|||||||
In addition to the drunken-driving charge, Quinn is charged with failure to exercise a high degree of care, and with having no insurance. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 11, said Anna Davis, clerk for the municipal court in Florissant.
The St. Louis Rams and Quinn agreed to terms on a four-year contract with an option for a fifth season.|||||||
Quinn, the 14th pick out of North Carolina, had to wait five days after changing agents before signing. He missed the first day of training camp on Saturday but is expected to be on the field Sunday.

Quinn was one of three Tar Heels kicked off the team last fall for receiving improper benefits and he left after his junior year after being declared permanently ineligible. The Rams are satisfied the mistake that kept Quinn off the field last year was out of character. "He's the furthest thing from a criminal, thug, bad kid," general manager Billy Devaney said. "Nothing like that at all. He made a rookie mistake, a dumb college mistake and he paid the price for it."
