Willis has told the Kansas City Chiefs that he is retiring. The Chiefs announced Willis' decision on Friday.||||||| Willis made 26 starts and played in 44 games in five seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, where he had the most success. He had bounced through the Dolphins, Saints and Jets over the past couple years before signing with the Chiefs for training camp.

The Saints have placed offensive tackle Charles Brown on injured reserve and signed Willis to take his spot on the active roster.||||||| The 29-year-old Willis began his NFL career in 2005, but has not played since 2009, when he started every game for Seattle. He missed all of last season with a knee injury.

Willis has signed with the Miami Dolphins after missing last season because of a knee injury.||||||| Willis was a disappointment with the Seattle Seahawks, who took him in the fourth round of the 2005 draft. He started 26 games for the Seahawks, including all 16 in 2009. The 6-6, 304-pound Willis reinforces depth at tackle, where Jake Long and newcomer Marc Colombo are the projected starters. The Dolphins waived tackle Micah Kia on Saturday.
