Burress is active and will play for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who will not have Antonio Brown when they face the Browns.|||||||
Burress was re-signed earlier this week by the Steelers, who drafted him in 2000. Burress was needed because of injuries to Brown (ankle) and Jerricho Cotchery (ribs). Emmanuel Sanders will start for Brown, who was listed as questionable all week and was limited in practice.

The Steelers (6-4) are down two receivers at the moment after Jerricho Cotchery fractured his ribs in Sunday night's loss to Baltimore. Antonio Brown has missed the last two games with an ankle injury. Burress spent the first five seasons of his career with the Steelers from 2000-2004.
Burress is in New England for a workout with the Patriots. A person with knowledge of the tryout tells The Associated Press that Burress had been invited to Foxborough, Mass., to work out for the AFC champions.|||||||
Burress spent last season with the Jets after finishing a 20-month prison sentence on a gun charge. New York did not re-sign Burress, who turned 35 on Sunday.
