Rivers was 29 of 37 for 337 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay.||||||| Rivers was playing some of his best football this season until the fourth quarter when he was largely responsible for San Diego's loss. The first of his interceptions was returned for a touchdown and the second led to a Tampa Bay field goal that sealed the game for the Buccaneers.

Rivers completed 18 of 20 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception in a win over the Chiefs Thursday night.||||||| It was a good sign for Rivers, who had been bad in two straight games. It was the sixth time in NFL history a quarterback had completed 90 percent or more of his passes, and tied Steve Young for fifth on that list. Rivers threw TD passes to Antonio Gates and Malcom Floyd.

Rivers completed only 18 of his 34 passes for 154 yards in San Diego's 7-6 loss to Cleveland on Sunday.||||||| Rivers' completion percentage (52.9) and yards were both season-low marks. His struggles have intensified recently, with Rivers notching a quarterback rating of only 58.5 over the Chargers' last two games.

Rivers was intercepted four times - three in the fourth quarter - and lost two fumbles in Monday's 35-24 loss to Denver, which overcame a 24-0 halftime deficit.||||||| The four pickoffs and six turnovers were both career-highs. A week earlier, the Chargers blew a 10-point lead in the third quarter in a 31-24 loss at New Orleans.
