The Dallas Cowboys have signed Costa to a two-year contract, pulling off another deal to save salary cap space.|||||||
Costa's agent, George Mavrikes, told The Associated Press on Saturday that Costa's $2.7 million, two-year deal includes a $450,000 signing bonus for $950,000 guaranteed this season. Costa played in only three games last season, missing most of training camp with a back issue that he re-aggravated in the season opener. He played two games in October before needing season-ending ankle surgery.
Costa is out for the season with an ankle injury.|||||||
Costa hasn't played since injuring his right ankle Oct. 21 against Carolina. He also missed all but one series of the first four games with a back injury.
