White has been released by the Miami Dolphins one year after they took him in the second round of the draft.||||||| White struggled with his throwing accuracy during a disappointing rookie season in 2009, when he failed to complete any of his five passes in limited duty. The Dolphins kept three quarterbacks - Chad Henne, Chad Pennington and Tyler Thigpen.

Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano says he doesn't expect White to play in the team's exhibition Friday against Atlanta, an indication the second-year quarterback's roster spot is in jeopardy.||||||| White took three snaps to run out the clock in the opening game and didn't play Saturday at Jacksonville. He's fourth on the depth chart behind Chad Henne, Chad Pennington and Tyler Thigpen, and Sparano has said he'll keep only three quarterbacks.

White says "personal issues" prompted him to miss the opening day of training camp.||||||| White joined practice Saturday and said the issues have been dealt with. He declined to elaborate. A second-round draft choice in 2009, White is one of four quarterbacks in camp and battling for a spot on the roster. Coach Tony Sparano said White dealt with "personal health issues" that the team had checked out. White played sparingly as a reserve last season.

White was carted off the field with a head injury Sunday following a helmet-to-helmet collision with Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor.||||||| White landed on his stomach, and Steelers players immediately began waving for help. He moved his legs and rolled onto his side before being lifted onto the cart on his back, and he also moved his arms.
