The promising rookie season of Perry, the Green Bay Packers' first-round pick, is over after he was placed on injured reserve with a wrist injury.|||||||
The Green Bay Press-Gazette reported that the linebacker had surgery to repair a ligament. Perry had missed the last three games, but it was with a knee injury.Perry, drafted out of USC with the 28th pick, played in six games and made five starts. He had two sacks and 29 tackles.
Perry left in the second quarter with a knee injury and was out for Sunday's game at Houston.|||||||
Perry was the Packers' fifth-leading tackler (28) and had two sacks through the first five games.
