Despite restructuring Michael Vick's contract and signing Dennis Dixon, the Philadelphia Eagles aren't shopping Foles and would want a first- or second-round pick to even consider it, a person familiar with the team's plans told The Associated Press on Friday.|||||||
The person, speaking on condition of anonymity because the Eagles won't publicly discuss trade rumors, said new coach Chip Kelly and the front-office brass "haven't discussed trading Foles with any team." Foles was selected in the third round with the 88th overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft. The Eagles "absolutely" rate his value higher than that because of his success as a rookie, the person said.

Reid said Monday that Foles broke his throwing hand in the second quarter of a 27-20 loss to Washington, but returned to the game after X-rays at the stadium were negative. An MRI taken on Monday revealed a hairline fracture, Reid said. Reid added because it's a non-displaced fracture, Foles should be 100 percent in about three weeks.
