The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed tight end Gijon Robinson and released fullback Naufahu Tahi, who left the team Friday for what coach Mike Mularkey called "personal reasons."|||||||
Mularkey spoke to Tahi after the team's morning session and said the sixth-year veteran left the team in what was a "family decision."
The Minnesota Vikings have re-signed Tahi.|||||||
The Vikings said Tahi signed his contract tender on Tuesday. The fifth-year veteran has been primarily a blocker for running back Adrian Peterson and a special teams player with the Vikings. Tahi caught 10 passes for 67 yards and a touchdown out of the backfield.

The Vikings matched Cincinnati's offer of one year and $1.4 million on Friday, meaning they will keep the restricted free agent. Tahi was signed off the Bengals practice squad in 2006. He beat out Thomas Tapeh for the starting fullback job during the season and helped open holes for Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor in the running game.
