Allen is Philadelphia's starting free safety. He was injured in the first quarter during Chicago's scoring drive. Jay Cutler threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Matt Spaeth to give the Bears a 7-0 lead Monday night.

Allen, drafted with the second-round pick Philadelphia acquired from Washington in the Donovan McNabb trade, is the fourth defensive starter to go down for the season.
