Austin has left the Thanksgiving Day game against Washington because of a right hip strain, and cornerback Orlando Scandrick injured his left forearm. The Cowboys said after halftime that neither player would return.||||||| Austin came down hard in the back of the end zone on the opening drive of the game when he took a hit from linebacker London Fletcher on an incomplete pass. Austin had also been knocked to the ground by Fletcher after an earlier incomplete pass.
