Austin has left the Thanksgiving Day game against Washington because of a right hip strain, and cornerback Orlando Scandrick injured his left forearm. The Cowboys said after halftime that neither player would return.||||||| Austin came down hard in the back of the end zone on the opening drive of the game when he took a hit from linebacker London Fletcher on an incomplete pass. Austin had also been knocked to the ground by Fletcher after an earlier incomplete pass.

Austin made five receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown in Dallas' 19-14 win over the Panthers.||||||| Austin has recorded 25 catches for 428 yards and four touchdowns in five games this season.
