The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to terms on a three-year contract with Leach and a two-year deal for linebacker Reggie Walker.|||||||
Leach has played in all 48 games over the last three seasons with Arizona. A 13-year NFL veteran, he played the previous seven seasons with the Denver Broncos. Leach has played 152 consecutive games, the longest streak on the team and third-longest active string for all long snappers.
The Cardinals have signed long-snapper Mike Leach, who spent the past seven seasons with the Denver Broncos. Contract terms for Leach weren't disclosed Thursday.|||||||
An undrafted free agent out of William & Mary, Leach played two seasons with Tennessee before signing as a free agent with Denver in 2002. He appeared in 104 consecutive regular-season games and four playoff games for the Broncos, who released him on March 1. Leach replaces Nathan Hodel, who was released after seven seasons with Arizona and signed with New England.
