Caussin remains under contract with the Bills for next season.|||||||
The Bills said Thursday they've retained Caussin by rolling over the final year of his contract. He missed last season while recovering from right knee surgery. Buffalo acquired Caussin in December 2010 by signing him off Jacksonville's practice squad. He has five catches for 41 yards in six games with Buffalo.
Caussin was moved to the reserve physically unable to perform list.|||||||
He is out for at least the first six games. He is eligible to begin practicing between the end of Week Six and the end of Week Nine of the regular season. At that point the Bills would have to decide whether to activate him or put him on the injured reserve list.
Caussin (right knee) was hurt in a 40-14 win over Denver on Saturday. He is done for the season and will probably need surgery.|||||||
Caussin was hurt covering a kickoff in the second half Saturday, and was getting additional playing time at tight end in place of starter Scott Chandler, who has been bothered by a sore left ankle.
