Texans guard Mike Brisiel has undergone surgery Monday to repair a broken right leg, and coach Gary Kubiak is hoping he'll be back in three to four weeks.|||||||
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Brisiel started all 13 games at right guard for the Texans. Antoine Caldwell will start Sunday's game.
Brisiel was placed on IR with a calf injury.|||||||

Brisiel collapsed on the sideline during the first quarter of Sunday's 17-15 victory over the Dolphins. The Texans' rookie offensive guard, who is on the team's practice squad, was not playing in the game. According to team officials, he is ill, but his condition isn't serious. Paramedics attended to Brisiel and after about five minutes he got onto a stretcher and was taken to the locker room.|||||||
