Huff has provided lock-down coverage on the outside the past few weeks to bolster a banged-up secondary. Huff was the seventh overall pick by the Raiders in the 2006 draft. He struggled his first few years but played his best football last season at free safety. His return means last year's leading tackler, Tyvon Branch, can remain at strong safety. Huff is the fifth free agent who has returned to the Raiders since the end of the lockout. Oakland also signed eight of its potential free agents before the lockout.
