The New York Giants have placed Coe on injured reserve.||||||| Coe has battled hamstring injuries. He missed a game at Carolina earlier this season and did not dress for Philadelphia. He said he tweaked the injury against Dallas two weeks ago and hurt it again in practice this week. Coe played in seven of the Giants' nine games and had eight tackles and two passes defensed. He also had five solo special teams tackles.

Coe will be placed on injured reserve and will miss the rest of the season after having surgery on his left knee last week.||||||| Colts coach Tony Dungy had said Coe was likely to miss at least eight weeks and hoped to wait until the two roster cutdowns before making a decision. The plan changed Tuesday when Dungy announced they couldn't wait for Coe to return because they needed a roster spot. "It's tough because he did a great job rehabbing his shoulder, and then he had a freak injury that ruined his season."
