Jones-Drew has been placed on injured reserve because of a foot injury.||||||| Jones-Drew injured his left foot Oct. 21 at Oakland when he was tackled on the opening play. He started running full speed last week, but his foot didn't respond as well as team trainers had hoped, so risking him in the season finale at Tennessee made no sense.

After skipping training camp in protest over his contract, Jones-Drew rushed for 77 yards on 19 carries during Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss at Minnesota.||||||| Jones-Drew wasn't expected to receive much work but ended up carrying the load after Rashad Jennings exited with a knee injury. He faces a tough task next week against Houston's stifling defense but should still be considered a top-10 option, especially if Jennings can't play.
