Willis is going on injured reserve after breaking a foot Sunday in a loss to the New York Jets.|||||||
Willis, a third-year pro out of UCLA, was injured in the first half. He had just one catch for 17 yards this season, against Indianapolis, but he was second in the NFL during the preseason with 263 yards receiving.
The receiving-thin Denver Broncos have promoted Willis from their practice squad, an indication that Eddie Royal is unlikely to play Sunday.|||||||
