Colombo has agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins, who again tapped the Dallas Cowboys pipeline to acquire a player.|||||||
Colombo, a starter for Dallas since 2006, was released Thursday by the Cowboys. He became expendable after they signed top draft pick Tyron Smith. In Miami, Colombo will provide depth behind starting tackles Jake Long and Vernon Carey. Colombo has ties with Dolphins coach Tony Sparano and general manager Jeff Ireland, who worked for the Cowboys before coming to Miami in 2008.
Colombo has been cut by the Dallas Cowboys, along with high-priced veterans Leonard Davis, Roy Williams, Marion Barber and Kris Brown.|||||||
