Hall had been sidelined with a hamstring injury
Hall has been cleared to participate in the Cincinnati Bengals' first practice of training camp, completing the cornerback's comeback from a ruptured Achilles tendon.|||||||
Hall passed his physical and was allowed to join the rest of the team in practice Friday afternoon. The team will limit his plays in a row at the outset, but Hall says there are no other restrictions. Hall is the Bengals' best cornerback. He was hurt last Nov. 13 in a game against Pittsburgh.
Hall is ahead of schedule in his comeback from a torn Achilles tendon and is hoping to be fully recovered by the start of training camp next month. Coach Marvin Lewis said on Tuesday that Hall has "exceeded expectations by far" in his recovery.|||||||
Hall will be limited to working on the side during the Bengals' three-day minicamp that opened on Tuesday. He said he's running forward and backward without a problem. Hall tore his left Achilles tendon on Nov. 13, leaving questions about whether he'd be ready for the start of the 2012 season.

Hall suffered the injury during a 24-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Tests after the game found that the tendon had detached from the bone. He'll have surgery later this week.
Hall has pleaded to a reduced charge in his drunken driving case, allowing him to avoid jail time. Hall pleaded guilty on Monday to a misdemeanor charge of reckless operation of a vehicle. A Clermont County Municipal Court judge sentenced him to attend a three-day program that deals with how alcohol and drugs affect driving.|||||||
The rest of his 30-day sentence was suspended. Hall also must perform 64 hours of community service. Hall was arrested on April 5. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said he had a blood-alcohol content of 0.149. The state's legal limit is 0.08.
