The Lions acquired Jackson from Seattle for an undisclosed draft pick in 2011 on Wednesday.||||||| Jackson had seemed to lose his place in Seattle's defense this summer. He was not big enough to be the run-stopping end the Seahawks want, and is not yet enough of a proven pass rusher to become a specialist. Jackson started 24 of 31 games in his two seasons with Seattle. He had a career-high 4 1/2 sacks last season.

Seahawks top draft choice Lawrence Jackson has reported to training camp and is practicing with the team.||||||| Jackson, the 28th pick from Southern California, agreed to an $11.25 million, five-year contract Friday morning, according to a person familiar with the deal. The contract includes a $6.1 million signing bonus, said the person who requested anonymity because the team did not release the terms of the deal.
