But the 6-foot-3 Dawson did have three sacks in the preseason and was used as a pass rusher off the bench before his injury. He has played in 63 career NFL games with 20 starts mostly in Indianapolis with two in Detroit before joining the Titans. He also has 109 tackles.
The Tennessee Titans have placed defensive end Keyunta Dawson on injured reserve with a hamstring injury and signed defensive end Pannel Egboh to fill the roster spot. The Titans announced the move Wednesday.|||||||
Dawson was hurt early in last week's 44-41 overtime win over Detroit. The 6-foot-6, 287-pound Egboh had been on the Titans' opening day roster, but he was inactive for the opener against New England. The Titans released him two days later. Egboh spent last season on the practice squad.

Detroit is without defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (ehn-DAHM'-uh-kehn soo), who was suspended two games by the league for roughing up a Green Bay offensive lineman after the whistle last week.
