The dispute reportedly centered on the Cardinals' desire to allow the Jets to score late in the game so the offense would get the ball to go for the tying score. Dockett didn't want to allow a touchdown. The issue became moot when Shonn Greene purposely downed the ball at the Arizona 1-yard line and the Jets ran out the clock for a 7-6 victory.

On Friday, the Cardinals lost Pro Bowl safety Antrel Rolle, who signed as a free agent with the New York Giants. Rhodes has four years left on his contract and was due $2 million roster bonus next week. Expected to be one of the standouts on coach Rex Ryan's defense last year, Rhodes struggled and even lost his starting job.
