Gregg will miss Saturday's game against Carolina with a shoulder injury.||||||| Gregg was also injured against the Jets. He had an MRI on Tuesday that revealed no damage, but it's possible Gregg will miss the final two preseason games as a precaution, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said.

Gregg had season-ending surgery on his left knee Tuesday, according to his agent. Gregg has not played this season because of the troublesome knee. His agent, Jack Bechta, said Monday night the knee was not responding to treatment, and that the operation will probably sideline the veteran until next May or June.||||||| Gregg underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on his left knee in early August after getting hurt in training camp in late July. He has been dealing with a hole in his cartilage that has caused significant pain and discomfort. Before this season, Gregg has played in every game for the Ravens since 2004. Justin Bannan, who is starting in Gregg's place, intercepted a pass in Baltimore's 13-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Gregg will remain sidelined for at least two more weeks with cartilage problems in his surgically repaired left knee, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Friday.||||||| Gregg will miss Sunday's game against Cleveland and next week's trip to Pittsburgh. Then, Gregg will be week to week.

Gregg is scheduled to see some playing time for the Raves on Friday in a preseason game against Washington.||||||| Gregg has missed the majority of the preseason with knee and thigh injuries, so a return at some level is positive for the veteran defensive tackle. If he is healthy for the start of the regular season, Gregg should help the strong Ravens' defense. Atiyyah Ellison could see increased playing time if Gregg struggles.
