Pilares injured his right shoulder during Carolina's 21-13 win over Washington Sunday. He had two catches for 42 yards and a touchdown for the Panthers. He was averaging 24 yards per kickoff return.
The Carolina Panthers could be without Pilares, the NFC's leading kickoff returner, on Sunday when they play Tampa Bay.|||||||
Pilares is listed as questionable and has not practiced this week due to a right quadriceps injury. Pilares, who is averaging 29.3 yards per return, had a 101-yard kickoff return for a touchdown two weeks ago against Detroit and a 76-yard return last Sunday against Indianapolis.
