McKenzie has apologized for two personal foul penalties he committed Sunday that got him benched.||||||| McKenzie, nicknamed 'Uncle Phil' for his resemblance to the character on the television show 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,' was taken out by coach Tom Coughlin after the second penalty. McKenzie didn't offer any excuses for being flagged for both 15-yarders in the 29-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

McKenzie was inactive against the Arizona Cardinals with a groin injury, ending the New York line's regular-season streak of 38 consecutive starts together. He was active for Sunday's game in Philadelphia.||||||| McKenzie was taken off of the field on a cart late in the first half of last Sunday's game at New Orleans. He was hurt on a play in which Eli Manning was sacked and stripped of the ball on a safety blitz by Roman Harper.

McKenzie was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop Thursday night.||||||| McKenzie was stopped after he cut through a gas station lot at about 9:30 p.m., said Little Falls police Lt. Salvatore Calafiore. A Breathalyzer test found McKenzie's blood-alcohol level was above New Jersey's legal limit of 0.08. He was taken to police headquarters and released later that night, Calafiore said. Giants coach Tom Coughlin did not say whether it would affect his status for Sunday.
