The 49ers signed Peelle to a one-year deal, giving the team a third tight end.|||||||
Peelle, in his 10th NFL season, was cut last month by the Atlanta Falcons after a three-year stint with the team. In 137 NFL games, Peelle has 122 receptions for 984 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Peelle has re-signed with the San Diego Chargers, agreeing to a one-year contract. The tight end appeared in all 16 regular-season games in 2004, finishing the year with 10 catches for 84 yards and two touchdowns.|||||||
