Fantasy outlook: Blaine Gabbert
QB Blaine Gabbert's long-term outlook is promising, as he can make all the throws and looks the part of a smart, strong-armed passer, but it is going to take time before he is a viable fantasy option.
Redskins nab hell-on-wheels Kerrigan
I am about to praise the Redskins for their — wait for it — patience. Trading back to get Ryan Kerrigan was an un-Redskins-like move that should pay off immediately.
Jaguars move up to grab Gabbert
Jaguars GM Gene Smith swings for the fences by trading up to grab Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert, the top-ranked QB on PFW draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki's board.

Jaguars look to get younger on interior of O-line

Jaguars likely to address LB position in draft
Gene Smith has not drafted a linebacker in two years since becoming the Jaguars' general manager, but with veteran free agents Kirk Morrison and Justin Durant not expected back, we hear that is likely to change next month.

Forsett signed Friday with the Jags.|||||||
Forsett has played for Indianapolis (2008), Seattle (2008-11) and Houston (2012). He has 1,661 yards and eight touchdowns. He will compete for the backup job behind Maurice Jones-Drew.
Forsett had 19 carries for 65 yards in a 20-3 loss at St. Louis on Sunday.|||||||
Forsett is getting most of the carries for the Seahawks, but with Seattle's offense struggling, he still hasn't found the end zone this year. He's unplayable in Week 5 anyway, with the Seahawks on bye.
Forsett rushed for 63 yards on 17 carries and added three catches for 31 yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over San Diego.|||||||
Forsett finally received the majority of carries out of Seattle's backfield, and could be in line for a big game next week against St. Louis, especially in PPR leagues.
Forsett had eight carries for 44 yards in the Seahawks' 31-14 loss at Denver on Sunday.|||||||
Somebody needs to get carries in Seattle, and Forsett looks like as good of a choice as anyone. Keep in mind, however, that he's merely a matchup play at this point. Don't get carried away by making him a regular.
Forsett got the start and rushed seven times for 43 yards in a win over San Francisco on Sunday.|||||||
The Seahawks essentially have a running back by committee, though neither Julius Jones or Leon Washington stepp up. Expect Forsett to start next week at Denver but he should be a low-end fantasy play.
