The Detroit Lions are without leading tackler Justin Durant for their game at Dallas.||||||| Durant was inactive Sunday because of a concussion. Bobby Carpenter, a former first-round pick by the Cowboys, replaced Durant in the starting lineup at outside linebacker.

Durant is set to join the Detroit Lions. Teams can talk to veteran free agents, but can't sign them until Friday.||||||| Durant, a linebacker who played four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, confirmed Thursday that he will sign a two-year contract with the Lions. The 6-foot-1, 240-pound Durant started nine games last season for the Jaguars while battling injuries.
